TUTORIAL: Instalasi Zimbra di Centos 6.5
[socialring]PENDAHULIAN
Zimbra adalah software open source untuk email server dan kolaborasi (groupware), yang menyediakan solusi email server yang powerful, penjadwalan, kalender grup, kontak dan manajemen penyimpananan dokumen via web. Zimbra server tersedia untuk Linux, Mac OS X dan platform virtualisasi. Zimbra menggunakan klien Ajax Web 2.0 yang dapat di jalankan pada browser firefox, Safari dan Internet Explorer (6.0+) dan IE serta mudah diintegrasikan dengan portal web API, aplikasi bisnis dan VoIP menggunakan web services. LANGKAH KERJA
- Matikan selinux di host anda
| [root@localhost ~]# vi /etc/selinux/config |
- Edit file dalamnya, dan disabled selinux :

- Edit file vi /etc/hosts, tambahkan ip dan contoh nama domain

- Lalu ubah hostname di direktori /etc/sysconfig/network
HOSTNAME=mail.boksisuryani.com |
- Lalu reboot dulu host supaya hostname terganti.
- Setelah hostname terganti instalkan packet yang dibutuhkan zimbra dalam instalasi
| [root@mail ~]# yum install system-config-network-tui system-config-firewall-tui nc sudo mysql mysql-server mysql-devel sysstat wget bind bind-utils –y |
- Lalu setting dns dulu sesuai hostname yang telah ditentukan. Contoh setting dns bisa lihat disini.
- Restart dns dan pastikan dns sudah benar di atur dan bisa digunakan.
- Sesudah packet selesai terinstall, download package installan zimbra dari dengan wget, contoh :

- Saat instalasi telah selesai, extract paketnya,

- Selesai terekstak masuk pada direktory nya, dan instalkan.

- Instalasi akan dimulai dan isikan instalasi, contoh :

- Instalasi sudah selesai, pindah ke user zimbra dan nyalakan service-service nya

- Zimbra sudah berjalan bisa dipakai dan siap digunakan,
- Untuk panel admin bisa di akses di alamat https://ipserver(domain):7071
- Client zimbra web-mail bisa diakses di alamat ini https://ipserver(domain)/
